Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Brings Holiday Cheers to Almost 90 Youth
On Saturday, December 6th volunteers from the Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Club and around 90 children from various nonprofit agencies spend the morning at the Building for Kids having breakfast, meeting Santa, (who had presents for them) and playing in the museum.
On Saturday, December 6th volunteers from the Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Club and around 90 children from various nonprofit agencies spend the morning at the Building for Kids having breakfast, meeting Santa, (who had presents for them) and playing in the museum.
The attendees were children who are currently staying at The Homeless Connection, Harbor House (a local domestic abuse shelter) or are affiliated with the Boy's and Girl's Club of the Fox Valley or Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Fox Valley Region.
This was a great opportunity to help some of the underprivileged youth in our community. The Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Club would like to thank WE Energies for their financial contribution to the event and the Building for Kids for hosting.
