2014-2015 Club Committees
Kiwanis is more than coming to a Friday meeting. It all starts with our active committees.

Car Show (Chairs: Art Malcom/Jay Stephany)
This committee coordinates food and beverages for the Appleton Car Club annual car show at Pierce Park
Community Service (Chairs: Dawn Malcom/Joan Kearney)
This committee identifies, organizes and carries out our community service activities such as highway cleanup, community donations, adopt-a-family, Salvation Army, and fix-up activities.
Finance and Budgeting (Chair: Jeff Walters/Renee Waterman)
This committee will advise the board of directors on financial matters, take the lead in establishing new fundraising projects, and assembles the annual budget.
Golf Fore Children (Chairs: Linda Breitzman/John Burgland)
This committee is responsible for locating and securing a golf course, sponsorships, soliciting for door prizes, raffle items and hole events. Proceeds of the event have gone to Building for Kids, the Children's Miracle Network and our own charities
House (Chair: Ron Hoffman)
This committee will coordinate meeting room set-up, continental breakfast arrangements, greeter assignments and provide gifts to speakers.
Human and Spiritual Values (Chair: Kathy Keshemberg)
This committee will focuses on the first Kiwanis objective, "To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than the material values of life". The committee coordinates a community inspirational breakfast in the spring.
Interclub (Chair: John Day)
This committee oversees interclub activities with other clubs in the districts which is a long tradition and a great way to meet fellow Kiwanians and learn what other clubs are doing.
Meetings and Programming (Chair: Harriet Redman)
This committee is responsible for obtaining speakers for our weekly meetings.
Membership (Chairs: Nate Cherne/Chris Church)
This committee will oversee membership recruitment, orientation and retention. The committee will also develop recruitment programs and incentives for current members to bring in guests.
NMT Fundraising (Chair: Paul Shrode)
This committee is responsible for raising funds for the Kiwanis International Project that will help to eliminate maternal/neonatal tetanus.
Public Relations & Club Runner (Chairs: Jay Stephany)
This committee is responsible for publicizing club activities as well as coordinating/updating our website.
Quarry Quest (Chair: Paul Shrode)
This committee is responsible for coordinating the volunteers for this fundraiser
Service Leadership Programs (Chair: Mary Greiner/Ellen Evensen)
This committee will maintain liaison relationships with our Circle K clubs, Appleton North Key Club, and our AKtion club. This committee will also coordinate reading at Horizon's School, projects with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Boys and Girls Club.
Social (Chairs: Ashley Gustafson/Emily Wagner)
This committee will organize social activities for club members designed to foster club member fellowship and family fun
