Peggy and I traveled District 6000 during the first 5 months of this Rotary year and visited all of the district’s clubs, now 64 in number. We look forward to continuing to work together toward ... PEACE THROUGH SERVICE in 2012-13!

President Elect Training Seminar (P.E.T.S.) is for incoming club Presidents. This is R.I. required training. It's also a great opportunity to network with other future Presidents. The event will be at the Holiday Inn Des Moines - Airport Conference Center and kicks off on Thursday, February 28 with a BBQ from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday begins with breakfast from 7:30-8:45 followed by a day and a half of training. Dress is business or business casual. Our friends on the east coast are suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy. At this time, we are appealing for financial help that will be distributed among about six Rotary Districts in the affected area.
