I'm sure everyone enjoyed their site visits on Monday hosted by Beverly Broyles/YWCA, Rock County Honda/Dick Stockwell, and Dave's Ace Hardware/Dave Warren.
No-one reported back in, but I can tell you that those of us who went to Dave's Ace Hardware were treated like royalty. Dave's Brother Paul is a serious grill master and cooked us a variety of meats on a Big Green Egg AND Traeger grill (both available at Dave's Ace). We also dined on cast iron skillet (grilled) Corn Bread and Cole Slaw homemade by our host. It was a delicious feast. We learned a lot about the Big Green Egg company and it's passionate fans, grilling techniques, and the history behind Dave's Ace ownership. He found his passion early in life and still loves the "something new every day" of his business. Did you know Dave's Ace has small engine repair parts, repairs screen windows, repairs Mosquito Defender machines, stocks Bonnie Plants and all your planting supplies, sells My Pillows, has a popular $1 section? ...the list goes on and on.
