ROTARY ANNOUNCES RECENT PAUL HARRIS FELLOWS

Service club recognizes eight members who donated $1,000+

The Rotary Club of Ithaca is pleased to recognize eight of its members who have expressed their belief in the club’s motto “Service Above Self” by selflessly making donations of $1,000 or more to Rotary.

Groton Rotary member Joe Urda received the Avenues of Service Citation signed by Rotary International President Sakuji Tanaka of Japan.

Janet Watkins, a member of the Groton Rotary Club is a very deserving Rotary Person of the Month.   As proprietor of a very unique gift store she is always available to help with the many projects of the club.  She is also the “idea generator” for many of the projects; from collecting books for Head Start children (500 in 2012) to ordering geraniums for our largest fund-raiser, Janet is always there.
