I am proud to serve as your District
Governor this year. Thank you for letting me serve District 5670.
District 5670 has been an
identity for 101 years. It has been an evolution through time with
different designations—ultimately , District 5670. LET US KEEP 5670
Our numbers have vacillated
through years due to a larger area of several states to the reduced area
now designated 5670.
To keep our identity, our membership
of every club must continue to grow. At times club growth is effected by
moving’s, deteriorated health and even death. These issues are
uncontrollable.
If each club does their best to
increase at least 5% net and have done you best, nothing more can be
expected. ASK ASK

Letter from District Governor Bob FriesenDistrict Rotarians,
I am honored to serve District 5670 for this Rotary year as your governor. Our district will remain strong through this year as we have in the past. A number of changes will be taking place as we contemplate the redistricting and our district moves in different directions July 1, 2013.
· I am challenging our clubs to have a 5% net membership growth, to increase our giving to the Foundation.
· That everyone becomes a sustaining Foundation member by giving just 30 cents a day by bank draft.
· The donation of blood is crucial to our nation’s health. That each club sponsor or support blood donations. One pint of blood can benefit three persons.
· Above all have fun.
That after June 30, 2013 as we look back, we can say we had a great year even though changes and uncertainties faced us.
As your District Governor, I do my best to make D5670 a strong and proud district.
July 7, 2012 Robert E. Friesen was installed as the District 5670 Governor by Rotary International President Sakuji Tanaka.
