Posted by Gerry Tipple Several club members supported a school project organised by the family of former members Dilip & Jyoti Kothari in rural Rajasthan, India. This year we helped a small school with >50 children in a Bhil village. We bought unifroms, mats, personal care products and books for the children as well as some much needed extra equipment for the school. A great day for the kids from the village as well as one visiting Rotarian from Prague |

Posted by Gerry Tipple on Apr 10, 2011 On March 31st, a party of seven Rotarians and partners from Prague visited our partner club, Bristol Breakfast in the south-west of England. It was a very enjoyable trip as the members of BB not only accommodated us in their homes, but arranged lots of interesting activities for us.
The amazing Clifton suspension Bridge As well as walking over this amazing bridge, we walked through the old port center of Bristol and visited the fascinating SS Great Britain. Evening entertainments were great fun, including a skittles evening at a traditional English pub. Generous scoring meant the ladies team skittled out the men. |
Posted by Gerry Tipple on Apr 10, 2011 On Friday 8th April Past President of Rotary International, Frank J Devlyn came to our regular meeting. Frank is a great speaker who inspired and entertained us with stories of his Rotary Experiences.
Picture shows Frank with two visiting Rotary Exchange Scholars.
The RI theme during Frank's presidency was Create Awareness-Take Action . Still very relevant today. |

The funds were raised at our M4M and big thanks go to Vanessa who did a supreme organising job as usual. |
